MiniAlbum/MiniAlbumLite has two programs:
MiniAlbum/MiniAlbumLite is an addin program for pocket viewer, which is used to view photos(*.mab) in pocket viewer. For PV-250X, PV-450X, PV-S250, PV-S450, PV-750, PV-S460, PV-S660, PV-S400 Plus, install the .bin file in PV2 folder, using PV application manager. (Please refer to PV application manual for instructions. The manual is included in the CD ROM come with your pocket viewer). For PV-S1600, please install the .pva file in PV3S1600 folder, using "File Transfer Manager" (which can be found in the CD ROM come with your pocket viewer).
MiniAlbum Creator is a Java application, which is used to convert photos(*.jpg, *.gif) to MiniAlbum format (*.mab). Just copy the MiniAlbumPartner.jar to your hard disk. It is runing in your PC/Mac with Java Runtime Environment 1.2 or later. You can download Java Runtime Environment at http://www.java.sun.com
You need MiniAlbum Creator to convert photo file in jpeg(*.jpg) or gif(*.gif) format to MiniAlbum photo file(*.mab). MiniAlbum/MiniAlbumLite can only view mab files.
To create mab file:
Launch MiniAlbum Creator by doubl clicking the MiniAlbumPartner.jar. It will open the MiniAlbum Creator panel.
Click "Browse..." to browse to the photo file (*.jpg, *.gif). A photo window will be opened for the photo.
The photo's size is automatically changed to fit into 160X160 pixels, and is converted to 16 level gray scale. Click "Diffuse" if you want to use diffuse to simulate more gray scale levels.
Launch MiniAlbum/MiniAlbumLite from pocket viewer. A welcome screen will be displayed.
Touch screen to continue. (You may need to touch screen and hold for more than 1 second, it is same for all touch operations in MiniAlbum).
After your photo is loaded, touch the lower half of screen to browse to next photo, touch the upper half of the screen to browse to previous photo.
If you are using MiniAlbum, you can pop up the photo list by touching "MenuBar" hard icon. Select the photo you want to view by touching the photo file name.
The last photo you view when you quit MiniAlbum will be opened next time you launch MiniAlbm.
You can quit MiniAlbum/MiniAlbumLite by touching any hard icon (For MiniAlbum, except "MenuBar").
For PV-S1600 only:
Since PV-S1600 has a better OS, PV buttons can be used in MiniAlbum:
Center button: to dismiss the first welcome screen, or to popup photo list menu. In photo list mode, to go to the selected photo
Left button: switch on/off back light
Right button: exit MiniAlbum
Up button: turn to previous photo. In photo list mode, to scroll up selection
Down button: turn to next photo. In photo list mode, to scroll down selection
